"The urgency level is really high. I don't think no one here is desperate, but we understand we have to win. It's a must-win. We're all trying to win. It's just a matter of time. We have to get it done. Everyone understands the task is winning" - Francisco Lindor

The World Cup should be as affordable and accessible as possible. Charging over $100 for a short train ride sounds awfully high to me. That’s not happening on the MTA.

New Jersey Transit Plans To Charge $100 for Trains From Penn Station to MetLife Stadium During the World Cup s.barstool.link/c/article-3567…

New Jersey’s NJ Transit is currently planning to charge more than $100 for return rail tickets from New York’s Pennsylvania Station to MetLife Stadium for FIFA World Cup games. According to people familiar with the plans, who asked to remain anonymous in order to protect relationships, a return ticket purchased via NJ Transit, New Jersey’s transportation provider, is currently modelled for more than a seven-fold increase from its usual prices during the World Cup this summer. The 18-mile rail journey, which includes a stop at Secaucus station, ordinarily costs $12.90 for a return ticket — the same pricing for the FIFA Club World Cup final last summer. The new special event pricing, however, is due to come into effect for the World Cup and is currently due to be over $100. 📝 @AdamCrafton_ 🔗 nyti.ms/425RIfk

@elmasbarbu Lindor is not better than Reyes offensively lol, Lindor didn’t even swipe bags until the rule change. Dude was a 15 bag max guy a year. Get real, Reyes was on base way more than Lindor which is what matters, also with RBI’s Lindor spent far more time in a 3 hole. Your act is a 🤣

Reyes > Lindor
