@gggiants @TonyColdWine Idk. Imo 2019 was the most "there is no reason to watch this team from the jump" giants team in the new ballpark era and they drew a lot of fans that year. I think a team of fun young players would be more popular than you might expect. Im jealous of the nats, cards, chisox..

A year later I'll still defend the vision of the Devers trade from the Giants perspective. They never sign real power bats so trading for one made sense. His falloff is a big, systemic concern now sadly. But what the Red Sox did with Harrison + Tibbs is way worse + malpractice.
