Opus 4.6 costs $5 per million input tokens. A power user burning through 50 million tokens a day, every day, running agents nonstop across multiple projects, would spend roughly $250/day on input plus maybe $750/day on output. $1,000/day. $30K/month. For a system that would have been literal science fiction 3 years ago. The wild part: most indie developers building real products with AI agents spend $50-200/month. The "unlimited API tokens" barrier is a mass delusion. The actual barrier is knowing what to build. Stark had the vision. The tokens are a rounding error now.
