CELEBRATING ZITF ON WORKER'S DAY… This last week, I had the immense HONOUR and profound JOY of attending the 65th Edition of the ZITF, and what an EXTRAORDINARY experience it was!!! From the moment I stepped into the exhibition grounds, it was immediately evident that the organizers had curated an event of remarkable DISTINCTION, which has elevated the Trade Fair to entirely new HEIGHTS. Under the inspiring theme of “Industrialisation: Crafting an Integrated Economic Landscape,” this year’s edition has been fondly celebrated as the “Blue Sapphire Edition” and brought together more than 800 exhibitors representing over 30 countries !!! Every detail, from the coordination of business visitors to the presentation of stands, demonstrated the ZITF Company’s unwavering COMMITMENT to the highest standards of PROFESSIONALISM and organizational brilliance. It would be remiss of me not to acknowledge the INVALUABLE presence of H.E.  President E.D. Mnangagwa, and his counterpart, H.E President Daniel Francisco Chapo of the Republic of Mozambique, who both conferred the event with the highest HONOUR and PRESTIGE. This CERTAINLY placed Bulawayo at the epicenter of Southern African COMMERCE for an entire week and also offered the Matabeleland region a renewed spotlight for BUSINESS opportunities, INVESTMENT discussions and cross-border networking, thus BOOSTING the Province’s economic prospects. As I made my way through the DIVERSE and dynamic exhibitions, I was deeply moved by the sense of PATRIOTISM and NATIONAL PRIDE that permeated every corner of the ZITF grounds. To have so many local and international exhibitors converge in one space and yet achieve seamless COORDINATION, effortless crowd MANAGEMENT and EXEMPLARY attention to detail is no ordinary achievement. It speaks volumes of the EXCEPTIONAL leadership at the helm of the ZITF Company, ably led by Board Chairman MR. BUSISA MOYO and his dedicated executive team. Among the many memorable interactions, the CEO of ZITF left a LASTING impression. He remarked, half in JEST, that should I ever consider buying anyone at ZITF a car , I should not forget him. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 While I may not be able to thank everyone from the ZITF Company, but in RECOGNITION of the outstanding leadership, energy and sheer EXCELLENCE demonstrated by the ZITF Company, I am pleased to handover two brand new 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 series VXR vehicles, each valued at US$200,000 - one for Mr. Busisa Moyo the Chairman, and the other to Dr. Nicholas Ndebele the CEO of ZITF.
