I would never work with a startup or anyone without signing a contract agreement. Earlier this year, I worked with a startup as a frontend developer (volunteer role) and when we’re almost done developing the UI, we were dismissed and removed from the repo 😂

@magattew No one said colonisation is the reason why Africa is poor. Maybe that's your own take innit. I personally don't care about what happened, I take responsibility and work towards the development of my nation.

Ethiopia was never colonized. For much of its history, it was one of the poorest countries on the continent. Meanwhile, Vietnam was colonized by the French, devastated by decades of war, and is now on its way to serious economic prosperity. If colonialism were the answer to why Africa is poor, Ethiopia should be rich and Vietnam should be broke. Neither is true. Can we please retire this excuse?

@dev_maims vibe coding is great until you actually have to ship to production lol. the "boring" ops stuff is still the bottleneck

Vibe coders can build an AI app in 10 minutes, but struggle with: -npm install -npm run dev -localhost:3000 -Environment variables -Git branches -Deploying to production
