The shirtless thing started because we were losing. It was a cute distraction from the losing.

When you watch a game, the analysts even talk about how they create so much noise for the opposing defense. They help more than a bunch of shirtless dudes waving shirts. It’s fun and all, but it is a gimmick during losses

To go along with winning football games his job is to put butts in those seats. The only way those seats aren’t filled is if we aren’t playing good. He has to say that.
