@LouiChristopher I'm interested in the unfair dismissal side of things. Can an employer dismiss a worker who's rate of pay had climbed 40%+? Its not the workers fault, but can the business be forced to keep that worker employed in a role that is now unaffordable?

More like half a million workers are about to lose their jobs with a whole bunch of businesses going under. Seriously, as an employer, why would you now hire a teenager when you can get an adult for the same cost? afr.com/work-and-caree…
