@JiriJerabek Currently it is not possible to use AirPods or Bluetooth headsets as recording input on the Apple Watch - only the watch microphone itself can be used. Hopefully, this is something Apple will open up in a future update to watchOS.

@brunoerni You can do it in 2 steps. 1. Use 'On My iPhone' as the storage location and use the 'Move Legacy Recordings' option in Just Press Record's settings. Your recordings will now be visible in the Files app. 2. Use the Files app to move from 'On My iPhone' to 'iCloud Drive'.

@opsApps Is there a way to move existing recordings in "Just Press Record" on iPhone from legacy storage location (in app) to iCloud Drive? Changing the app settings seem to affect only future recordings. How to move already existing recordings? Thank you.

@TroytlePower Without having the devices to test it's difficult to know. Just Press Record does have control over the sample rate and bit depth for most devices - you could try changing those in the in-app settings to see if there's a good combination.

@opsApps - I just picked up a wireless lapel mic set that works fine in videos, but in both Just Press Record and the built-in Voice Memos app on my iPhone the audio is horribly choppy.
Any idea if that's a fixable issue?

@opsApps “just press record” is amazing! But what would make it even better if a long press would let you chose between some preset languages. I switch between 4 different languages daily (and I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of Europeans and Asians do something similar).

@denshiboy the Automatic Transcription setting only applies to the device on which the recording was made. If you make a recording on your iPhone, the Mac will never attempt to automatically transcribe that recording when it downloads via iCloud.

@opsApps I've read one of your posts saying "it doesn't automatically transcribe iOS or Apple Watch recordings on the Mac." However, I have noticed "Auto Transcribe" option under Advanced Preferences on the Mac, which implies that automatic transcription is supported?

@davidjoelhall No, it doesn't automatically transcribe iOS or Apple Watch recordings on the Mac. You would have to manually kick off transcription of those recordings.

@davidjoelhall Yes, if you're using iCloud Drive, the new universal version of Just Press Record on Mac will show all your recordings, regardless of which device they were recorded on and can also transcribe them.
