@featherleafern I don’t think I needed deadline extensions but that was offered too :) one of our classes was drawing and we were assigned to do a self-portrait. I emailed the prof saying I was struggling to look at my reflection cuz dissociation and he let me paint @emiliafart instead 🙂↕️💖

@featherleafern Our system discovery happened in our last year of fashion school (I was diagnosed a few months after graduating) and I actually told my professors I was dissociating and having memory problems, I was crazy honest. They let me do work at home and have lowkey unlimited absences

none officially but i also haven't asked for any! my did doesn't typically get in the way of my schooling worse than having an occasional late assignment. i usually just tell professors i have memory issues. most are very understanding and don't mind a day or two late :)
