i've been a system for 2/3 of my life- it's honestly hard to imagine what my life would be like as a singlet! it's not a BAD question, i should say, it's just one i find a little amusing. like, what's being a singlet like? that's just as foreign to me as systemhood is to you!

i always find it funny when singlets ask things like "what's it like being a system?" because, at least for me, the answer is "well... normal!"

i might have to make a more fleshed out survey on this because why the fuck are more singlets talking to themselves than systems. what variable is causing that. i need to know

@cornersev yeah, this is part of why i wanna make a bigger survey… i wanna know how many people are properly speaking to themselves out loud like a conversation and how many are just mumbling little reminders. i didn’t expect more than like 200 votes so i didn’t bother with defining it lol

@aliceonthedot2 we tend to speak at a slightly lower volume than normal, closer to mumbling. most people just don’t care or notice, i’ve never gotten questions abt it

@yurasaing if you consider it talking to yourself, then it counts! this isn't a very serious poll so i'm not worrying about concrete definitions of stuff. it's just whether or not you consider it talking to yourself
