@422kit i've found people like that tend to ONLY define "impacting reality" by the ways things negatively impact reality. positive impacts just don't really count as far as i can tell. they literally just ignore them or don't even think of them as impacts on reality.

@documense for real!!! most of us don’t bother masking in public like 80% of the time because it is just so not a big deal. i think we’re ridiculously obvious but nobody seems to notice ever. we even give different names at takeout places constantly, it just doesn’t matter

sometimes you can be a different guy, not say anything about it, and still act however you want. the vast majority of people do not have DID as even a blip on their mind but also you would be surprised at the range in behavior you can display without any comment or suspicion
