@cullenoncurling Post mortem will be interesting. I hope they regroup and get their Bronze. I think Canada seriously needs to reconsider when our rep gets selected. The stress of the Trials and then having to play Grand Slams. Dumb. Olympic team should have the full season to prep.

Canada just not good enough today and Sweden was solid up and down the lineup. This is where you have to wonder if playing 5 must-win games in a row caught up to them.

Also hearing a lot about “well Canada should have MD specialists.” Ok, maybe. But all the MD specialists in this field are missing the playoffs. Joce and Brett play as much as any of the playoff teams in the field (and in some cases, more). Shit happens.

Was it the best week for Brett and Joce? No. Do we need a referendum about it? No. They were Canada’s best rep, this was a stacked field that had at minimum 6 teams that could comfortably win gold, and some good teams were gonna miss the playoffs. Unfortunately it was them.
