Despite being an Arsenal academy graduate & a boyhood gunners fan, Fabrice Muamba admitted he'll forever have a soft spot for Tottenham after the reception he got on his return to White Hart Lane, where he was applauded by 36,000 Spurs fans. I think it's more than fair to say the feeling is mutual from Spurs fans towards Muamba. A real miracle & inspiration. A beautiful moment after such an initial tragedy.

I've not even wanted to talk about the footballing reasons why Roberto De Zerbi is a stupid appointment for Tottenham, because honestly it pales in significance to the other reasons as far as I'm concerned. But a 5-year contract to make him one of the biggest earners in the PL is beyond idiotic. He doesn't want to be here right now, which has been made clear. If he's coming now, he's doing it for the money - and I would expect that there's a get-out clause and payment for him if we get relegated (because I don't see why else he would take this job). He falls out with boards and he falls out with players. He's an unpredictable manager that offers nothing but chaos in a time where we need nothing but stability. And going this direction, in terms of tactics and character, shows the complete lack of identity and plan from the top of this club. Vinai Venkatesham & Johan Lange. This club's blood is firmly on your hands.
