@LouisMend actually that's quite easy, those arrows start going out when the minute starts, when they meet at the bottom 30 secs are over and when they meet again at the top the next minute starts

These new clocks are infuriating. Not remotely easy to tell how many seconds into the minute you are. There’s a big difference between being 61 and 119 seconds from your departure time when you’re in eg Charing Cross and you have no idea. Follow me for more fascinating tweets.
