If you have Gemini Pro , stop stressing about API keys. You can get Gemini API access through Google Developer Program for free . Just use it in Hermes. Gemini 3.5 Flash is genuinely good.

Students can run Hermes for free right now. Took me a while to figure out the exact method. Dropping it in DMs if anyone’s interested.
