#joltconference lived up to the hype. - finally met a bunch of people I’ve talked to on socials for years - listened to a lot of the industry’s smartest marketing minds - had my first opportunity to speak on stage next to @kendrarockslife and Elizabeth Reider - and after two years of talking almost daily and working on multiple projects together, @TheFinArtist and I finally met in person Big thank you to @robertsofia and the @SnappyKraken team for a great event.

I am to start this one backwards … The only standing ovation at #JoltConference…. 🎉 was given to Cici Prsha and her team. In a class move, @robertsofia invited them all on stage to accept the credit they deserved. Jolt! 2025.... started with a Jolt!… A Jolt in the form of a fire alarm evacuating us at 1 am due to active explosions in the attached parking garage. 🌞 The next morning … Other than the coffee and donuts, the Renaissance @RenNashville kindly placed in the lobby and the fans around the hotel, you would have never known everyone had been awoken and on the street in the early morning hours. 🔋Robert, Diana Cabrices, and Matt Halloran bought the energy and high-voltage reminder that financial planning is about more than spreadsheets. And it reinforced my plan to pull back the curtain on our process. What do you do when the feedback is that s*cked? Well if you’re @robertsofia you lean in. Robert introduced Manish Khatta and Christopher Norton of Potomac by saying after Jolt! Vegas he got the worst feedback about Manish …. so he invited him back and gave extra time in Nashville💡 Their presentation was what Chris said is the word that scares advisors most…… Entertaining 🎬 They were entertaining while delivering so much value… In line with Robert’s extra time theory here you go: “Your financial plan is the same as the advisor around the street; no one really cares” ~ Manish “Most marketing attribution is bullsh*t. We want to track it but you can’t really predict behavior” ~ Chris “You are fighting for attention, your actually products don’t matter” ~ Manish “Eyes on brand” ~ Manish “Your audience owes you nothing” ~ Chris @denisesprung and I truly enJOYed their extended time on stage … even more than the ceral 🥣box that showed up at @MitlinFinancial sometime ago. #JoltConference

That's awesome! Congrats. It's still new, but it is basically like SEO with something deeper: being part of the right conversations in the right places. I’d focus on: Making sure your name/site shows up in niche articles, podcasts, panels about AI/robo-advisers. Getting mentioned or linked in places that AI models + search scrape for “rusted answers (think industry blogs, thought leader posts, Quora, Reddit, etc.). Using very specific long-tail keywords in your bios and site copy... what would you Google if you needed “legal help for an AI robo-adviser”? I would summarize that it's a mix of SEO, influence, and positioning. Curious how @SamanthaTwenty and @ShawnaOhm are thinking about it!

Someone recently found me for legal services for a robo-adviser startup using AI deep research and I don't know how you go about optimizing to be found for that. It is obviously like SEO, but clearly a bit different. Anyone have answers? @SamanthaTwenty @robertsofia @ShawnaOhm
