Well it’s that annual time. Dead period and most of Tennessee is heading down to the “Redneck Riviera”. As a Mid TN’er if I don’t leave my house by 4am I know this is what I’m gonna get stuck with. What’s y’all’s leaving times or tips? My wife and I pack the ride the night before and go by the rule of “whoever gets up to pee in the middle of the night is the one that’s got to get everyone else up” Nothing worse than traveling 65S and have a van from KY pass you. Hotels in Auburn were too expensive so we decided to do a night drive further south. Final destination probably Tuskegee or Montgomery.
