I am kind of at a loss for words after watching the debate. The overall thought that keeps ringing in my head is “this is the best we can do?” I cannot stand Trump. Disgusts me. But I cannot see how they let Biden stay the Democratic candidate. What a massive mess. This is the best we can do?

I’m seeing a lot of Head of Design roles open up for startups (Series A) and Product Design Managers at various company sizes—a promising signal for the market! I’ll share a few things that stand out based on what I’ve seen and roles that are compelling.

@hpdailyrant Advice/BS; I mentor with a 'trust no advice' approach, teaching people to apply design thinking to themselves. Identify what's working and what needs improvement amidst today's noisy wannabe influencer voices by assessing feedback and its value for their process.

@hpdailyrant Excluding a valid outcome by labeling it 'pessimism' is an attempt to discredit without consideration. Probable outcomes are based on instinct, experience, mental modeling, etc. The idea may sound pessimistic because it reflects reality. Hope & criticism alone is not an argument.
