Growing up in South Carolina, the Winter Olympics were always fascinating because we didn’t have any of those sports. You can’t just get a pickup game of curling with your friends on a whim. Ice skating was maybe a once a year thing. Much respect to those athletes.

Your selection of a passage meant to encourage people who would have been considered illegal immigrants is somewhat ironic. Context (who wrote it, who’s it written to ) matters in how we apply Scripture.

@Cowboy202117 @JDVance 1/2This is from a letter Paul wrote(from prison In Rome)to the persecuted church that was scattered. Many of the Christians he was writing to did not have Roman citizenship and would have no legal rights in the place that they lived.

Mexico sends ton of fentanyl into our country. Canada has seen a massive increase in fentanyl trafficking across its border. There are three ways of stopping this. The first is ask nicely, which we’ve done. It’s gone nowhere. Now we’re on to the consequences phase.
