@duffman197332 @Sarah_ham96 I mean last season we didnt finish with a whimper, we got promoted through the play offs 😂 the 5 games before that we were basically just keeping players fit. Players like Joe Anderson and Harrison Jones played quite a few minutes.

I think people need to realise that the boos last night were 100% warranted. People weren’t booing based on the season, they were booing based on that 45 minutes. Fans got back behind the lads in the 2nd half, atmosphere was mental for a team 4-0 down 😂 #SAFC

It was never about Europe. It was about survival and survive is what we have done. Europe would have been a bonus on top of a very good season. Yes , it was an absolute disaster of a first half but we should be proud of where we have came from. #SAFC

Bad day at the office but what a season man, atmosphere second half was very very good. Players didn’t deserve it based on the first half. Think Xhaka and Nordi need to read the room mind, pathetic arguing with fans at half time after that first half display 🙃 #SAFC

@Wes_safc86 Just to play devils advocate, do you think with the creativity Enzo has would it not be best to deploy him in the middle instead of Diarra? To me Sadiki and Diarra are very similar but Sadiki seems to be doing it better atm. Enzo should have had 2 assists yesterday outta nowhere.

Diarra starts every game for us easily. The energy he brings is ridiculous. A missed chance isn't gonna change that. Half our fans need to remember where we've been the last few years #safc

Brian Brobbey epitomises everything that is wrong with modern day football. I grew up watching players defined by elegance and intelligence on the ball: the likes of Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Dimitar Berbatov, Alan Shearer, Robin Van Persie, Andy Cole and Sergio Aguero. They made the game feel like an art form as much as a sport. Now I have to watch lumps like Brobbey who has nothing more than physicality to his game. He plays like a WWE wrestler, not a Premier League footballer. It’s effective sure, but boy is it painful to watch. It’s the sad reality of where our beautiful game has gone. And it’s why players with more natural talent and technical quality like Nick Woltemade are struggling. Brian Brobbey is the face of this new era and it’s painfully sad.

@DavidHindmarsh7 Don't help themselves like. They think now because they have money and they were big in the 90's they are some sort of power house. When in reality they aren't in the same stratosphere as the teams they likely compare themselves too.

@Capt_Fishpaste I’m not saying Sunderland are a small club, obviously. You are nowhere near as big as Newcastle, but you aren’t small. Us however are one of the biggest clubs in the country, no question about it, end of story and you all know it.
