Mat Ishbia and Booker need to sit down and have a real conversation. Put all the delusional stuff and “loyalty” gimmick to the side. Outside of 2021, Book and the Suns have been either early playoff exits or not even making it. Keeping Book is just going to make things worse for both parties. They need to move on from each other. Ik this will tr1gger a certain side of the Suns base but this is the logical thing to do. It will just never work out. Booker has clearly regressed and not capable of being a first option. The Suns should retool and send Book elsewhere where he doesn’t need to be a first option.
