@andrea_ser71488 Farage is a privately educated ex banker with a decades long career in mainstream politics and the backing of billionaires and aristocrats - do you know how retarded you have to be to think Farage isn't the establishment?
English

@KevlarHannah You don't have to sell him any more, he's already very popular 😊
English

@spectator He tries pulling a publicity stunt to distract from his corruption and failed. Cry more

It looks like it will be Nige vs Count Binface, to the childish glee of every Radio 4 comedian and Remoaner on the internet.
Well, I'm not laughing. I think the parties are behaving abominably. Their choreographed retreat smacks of moral cowardice.
This is a collective abdication of the first duty of a party, which is to contest elections, to disseminate ideas, to try to win the hearts of voters.
The parties think they're getting one over on Farage but in truth they are grossly insulting the good people of Clacton, whose views and votes they clearly couldn't give a toss about. They are cruelly depriving these working-class seasiders of choice. It is obscene.

@DavidWebbTweet Breaking news - flag shaggers are scientifically illiterate as well as being just plain illiterate. 1976 and what's happened over the last few years are night and day
English

2026 - A single day where the temperature exceeded the previous 'record' by 1 degree.
1976 - Fifteen consecutive days of temperatures of 33 degrees or more.
Anyone trying to tell you that the weather has got worse over the last 50 years is lying or they weren't born in 1976.

This is the weather map used by BBC News tonight. Europe has apparently turned into molten lava.

@liamtuffs1 If you think this is anywhere close to communism then that's a level of political illiteracy that is pretty embarrassing for a grown man to admit to
English

@Jenny_1884 Yeah, I'm sick of you lot on the right wing spreading division and constantly doing this country down. If you don't like it, leave
English

@realninawysocka More people voted for Andy Burnham than some sexist class traitor representing fascists. Does that help?
English

@BBCBreakfast Absolute rubbish. Reform lost and lost heavily - we hit peak Reform support a little while back and their voter share has decreased since. They lost the moderate vote when people saw through their lies and incompetence and they're losing the far right vote to Restore
English

'We had Reform voters saying I'm so determined to get Starmer out I'm going to vote Burnham to ensure that result'
Richard Tice, deputy leader of Reform UK, spoke to #BBCBreakfast after the party came second in the Makerfield by-election, losing to Labour's Andy Burnham

@ThomasEvansAdur What a miserable existence, sat there with your little clipboard marking off demographics instead of watching the football. Grow up, you sad little man 🤣

English

@raelbrav Why are the far right so desperate for this country to be run into the ground? A Reform government would finish us in less than 5 years
English

@WalshWalsh3 If you're this bothered by someone expressing an opinion may I suggest you grow the fuck up?
English

@BenGrahamUK Assaulted a police officer and ran his business into the ground whilst avoiding £1 million in tax - yeah, sounds great mate 👍
English

@BlueCoProject There are people who want to go but it's incredibly expensive and your dictator in chief blocks entry to people based on their social media. You'll go down in history as hosting the worst, and most politicised, world cup in history. Well done, little buddy 👍
English

@bagshaw2112 Racist thugs have weaponised the flag to intimidate immigrants. Far right parties like Reform and Restore have stocked racial hatred. Good, honest people are scared of the connotations that flying the flag now brings
English

@Jenny_1884 Not sure if you're aware but we have licensing laws in this country. The World Cup is in North/Latin America this year so games will be on very late our time. He's allowing pubs to open late, as is his right as head of state. Does that help, love?
