12 days ago this winter barley got 7.5 units/ac melted urea plus 20lt /ha biofertiliser with fermented minerals and anaerobic microbes, the biofertiliser cost a whopping €1/ac , fair difference where sprayer was turned off considering the lack of growth .

A great day to show our research on insects for livestock feed, seaweed, multi-species grasslands, trees and by-products, to address the environmental impact, promote responsible farming practices and produce more nutritious animal products.@QUBelfast @niscifest @QUBbioscience

Great privilege last night to attend the Essex Agricultural Society and share my #Nuffield findings on how the greatest families in business across the world use a #FamilyCharter to unite their families, build trust and help make better decisions together. #Farming #Family

I know this puts me firmly in the 'dinosaur' category but I still prefer to use a traditional hessian tool bass instead of a modern plastic toolbox when working on site. And yes, I do wear a calico apron when polishing but I draw the line at a flat cap or touching my forlock 😆

@woody_VA A well I found when we renovated and extended our house. Originally just outside the back door of the oldest part of the house but now in the floor of the hallway with a glass cover. The water level rises in winter and collects dust off the bricks so we skim it off the water.
