@heameljon yeah i’ve heard a lot of salaried people end up having to work overtime in a sense and get nothing extra and that’s not right either. i really try not to complain because im lucky to be able to work but i just want one weekend off 😭 it’s my 5 yr wedding anniversary 🥺

@stfushaina I am sorry, no work environment should be like this. I manage a team and have covered shifts. Unfortunately, because I am a hard worker I get extra tasks and responsibilities. I am salary so no extra pay.

like what would happen if i were to give my two weeks notice?? that’s even less time for you to find someone to cover my shifts?? 6 weeks seems like a good amount of time to let someone know?

the company i work for has 12 different locations and out of all 12 locations- only ONE person is allowed off at a time because the managers don’t want to have to cover shifts.. even when you give the 6 weeks notice that you need off..
