@sullyoonvocals YESSS, exactly! that’s one of my fav parts, too. i’ll die on the hill defending BV as the perfect level of mixxpop to appeal to a wide audience, i think they nailed the idea with that song🥹

@stroNSWER you’re right, bv does have more change ups in that sense. just recalled one of my favorite parts is the “you might be my endgame” and not just bc of sully vocals but the jersey beat

@sullyoonvocals yeahhh i feel like BV is only pop-rock in the chorus, every other section is a slightly different genre, esp pre-chorus, verse 2 and the bridge. KAM is mostly a sub genre of r&b and doesn’t stray far from it outside of the bridge imo. it’s great tho, i think it flows perfectly!

@stroNSWER maybe i’m just unfamiliar with pop rock so i missed the genre nuances in bluval. kam sounded like a plain r&b song to me too, but many people complain about the rap sections ruining the flow (i disagree), which is a genre blend in its own way. bv tempo switch was cool tho!

@sullyoonvocals sooo, KAM only changes its instrumental for the bridge/dance break really. keeps the same tempo throughout, too. BV changes not just the instrumental but also the genre, a few times. It also slows tempo and ramps back up in the pre-chorus. if you enjoy KAM more i get it tho 🫶

@stroNSWER how is bv more mixxpop? is it because it’s louder? genuinely curious, they’re both on the same level to my ears.
