🚨UPDATE: Regretfully, my amendment to include language banning Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) was not advanced and will not come to the House floor for a vote. Conservatives were assured that anti-CBDC language would be included. Instead, we have been forced into a take-it-or-leave-it bill that breaks that promise. Without that language, I’m inclined to leave it.

Gen Zers and young Millennials bitching about housing need to grow a pair and do something about it. I'm a gen Xer with a 2.5% mortgage on a house I paid peanuts for over 15 years ago. I'm in the majority of American middle- to upper-class households who have absolutely no problem with housing. What 20-30s folks need to recognize is that they are a minority of American adults. Most of us adults are very happy with our homes, the price we paid, and our mortgage rate. And guess what, men coming of age in the '40s got drafted and had to go fight for 4 years in Europe/Japan... and maybe die. Men in the late '60s/'70s, same thing, but for Vietnam. Now you have a challenge... housing is much less affordable than it used to be. Would you rather be drafted into WWII/Vietnam? I know that I wasn't, but I had my own challenges at my time. But that's not the point. The point is, have some pride and dignity. Say, fuck boomers, fuck you guys, we're going to craft our own way... and then go do it. Here's a potential avenue... I think drones and vertical takeoff vehicles could open up land for homes everywhere. No roads needed. There are solutions. Let's find them. Not bitch about everything.
