Duckstation System 12's getting closer. Performance needs to be fixed. Sound works, but I hear random squeaking noises😅 Still good progress.

@gpbear4 Adding coins doesn’t work. The workaround is to set it to Free Play. Right now the blocker is sound. The sound chip is not the same as the PS1.

@tbender95 what features of the system 12 do you need to add to duckstation? this is really awesome

Tekken Tag Tournament (arcade) running on Duckstation. Looking better ingame! No sound, no controls, no RTC yet. One step at a time...

@Jinogre1 The undamned usb decoders are rock solid. A lot more wiring, but that doesn’t matter if it’s reliable. I will go back to that route. @Jinogre1 Last-minute I used a couple of MP07-IONA-US boards to convert the JVS standard to USB. Unfortunately, one was dropping inputs for PS4 controllers, including my brook board in PS4 mode. The other outright didn’t work tonight. Pre-Covid I used undamned decoders. (Cont’d)

I’m running a Tekken Tag Tournament bracket at Frosty Faustings 2026 tomorrow, Saturday Jan 31 @ 8 PM in the Lilac Ballroom. I have two setups on arcade hardware. They will support USB controllers! #FFXVIII2026
