Quick stop on our trip to Calgary for a hockey weekend.

@lyndonkaleb Bought tickets for my wife and mother-in-law to see Taylor Swift at BC Place, $4200 for 2 tickets in the upper bowl.

@thackattack41 Wife wanted to go to a Taylor Swift concert, we managed to win the lottery to buy tickets normally but I looked at the tickets in our same section on resellers, our $300 tickets were selling for $10k. Yes TM fees are a problem, but scalpers are still a problem.

Ticketmaster is the issue, not individual sellers. For example, if I want to sell my Round 1 playoff seats & simply recover my cost, I have to sell that $500 seat (my cost) for $550 because TM takes 10%. Then they charge fees to the buyer.....

@OilersMcDrai I primarily use FF. No fees for buyers.

Keep in mind that "cost" & "face value" are different terms. The face value of a ticket differs from game to game and is determined by the team. The "blue dot" seats on Ticketmaster (team seats) fluctuate based on the game.....

This pairing just straight up can not continue. I don't care if you recall Regula, or juggle the pairs some more. Something needs to change here, this is no longer a small sample.

Just got our Oilers Season Seat renewal and playoff ticket option. If you thought playoff tickets were expensive last year..... just wait.....

@thackattack41 You've got connections who work for the team, who have the opportunity to read fan input. Probably a good time to pen a letter, for Bob to read on air. He can't criticize the team but he can bring fan frustrations forward.

@curtisharsch Yeah, this will be the first year we don't get our playoff seats. I can get tickets cheaper on re-sale. $500 per seat for Round 1 is ridiculous.
