I had the strange experience the other night of going to someone with concerns and hearing a defense in which every explanation was considerably worse than I had supposed. The most sane line was "You're probably going to think this is crazy, but [insane schizophrenic ravings]."

I don't really drink but when I visited my family over Christmas at one point I had a trivial amount of alcohol and after a bit it struck me that I was probably talking far more than usual. (Far more than a tiny amount is still not a lot, sample size, etc. etc.)

Memes aside, being a sensitive young man (or maybe not so young) is actually a pretty terrible experience day-to-day. If I could get the surgery to remove the sighing 19th century artist homunculus from my brain I would. He’s exhausting and kind of gay.

I feel a lot better physically than I have in a while, which I think is having the unforeseen consequence of making me far more irritable.
