This morning we released our Q3 2024 business update, highlighting closing acquisitions on five high quality data center development sites: *Closed acquisition of Barber Lake data center site, which includes 250 acres of land in West Texas, a newly constructed high-to-mid voltage substation, and immediately available 300 MW *Closed acquisition of Reveille data center site, which includes approvals for 70 MW and potential to expand to 200 MW, with energization targeted for 2027 *Signed option agreements to purchase or lease three sites in Texas with targeted power capacity of 500 MW each, suitable for HPC or bitcoin mining Cipher’s active portfolio and options for development now total ~2.5 GW across 10 sites. We continue discussing potential tenancies with hyperscalers, in the middle of upgrading our mining fleet at Odessa, and remain on track to deploy a highly efficient ~13.5 EH/s by the end of the year. $CIFR successfully navigated the final month of 4CP in Texas and mined ~155 bitcoin in September. During the month, the Company’s operational and construction teams finalized preparations for the upgrade of the mining fleet at Odessa, expected in the coming weeks, and continued to build the new Black Pearl data center, which is on track for energization by the end of Q2 2025. September was also a big month for corporate development as we successfully closed the acquisition of the 300 MW Barber Lake site, which is an ideal candidate for HPC hosting. This purchase was largely funded through the sale of bitcoin from our treasury. We manage our bitcoin holdings opportunistically, with the goal of maximizing shareholder returns. Large-scale, energized sites are in high demand and rarely available today. Therefore, we believe this was a perfect opportunity to exchange a portion of our bitcoin holdings for an asset that can produce extraordinary returns for shareholders over time.
