I joined Glide to help build the future of agentic application development. When the CEO David pitched me the vision, I was excited about it, but I was concerned that they would want me to give up Wender. Instead, they not only encouraged me to keep going, but became my biggest customer to help fund my efforts. I'm stoked about the future of both Wender and Glide!
Glide@glideapps

Glide has partnered with AI design platform @WenderAI, as its founder, Josh Johnson (@secondfret) joins the Glide team as Principal Product Manager. Glide has been a design-forward software company since its founding. Discovering Wender, the alignment was obvious. We're proud to announce that Glide is becoming Wender's biggest customer, and we've officially brought its founder, Josh Johnson, onto the Glide team to help us build the new Glide for the AI age. Please give Josh a warm welcome!

The whole AI allows you to move faster, ship faster, build features faster. This is great if the primary reason for not building the features fast enough development is taking too long. Has any used AI to fix development "waiting" for requirements/approval

@kylefox @Railway I recently switched to use Railway for a personal project and didn’t have any issues with a clean Rails app. I used the included Dockerfile, I use the GitHub connection for CI/CD integration. The deployment logs were helpful when I tried added some other features, like volumes

I don't know how people are having success deploying Rails apps to @Railway 🤔 I gave up after spending an hour trying to get a fresh Rails app running. Claude gave up after another hour of trying — look at the commit history (lol). "Railway is broken. Try Render instead." 🤣

@nateberkopec I think it's a little more nuanced than this - yes their main products are slim and elegant. But they do this by investing back to Rails to allow the community to also benefit, and also creating other libraries, e.g. Lexxy

Like most car pedals, the Porsche 928 clutch petal has grippy rubber tread. But back in the late 70s they just had more fun. They didn't have to embed "928" into the tread itself, but, then again, maybe they did. When you're that deep into a project, pride pops out all over the place. Are any mass production car brands having this kind of fun anymore?

Bringing the fun of the paper "Family planner" from the kitchen to the digital world by having the ability to add stickers rather than just using text

If you don’t like people watching you when you work being a hairdresser certainly isn’t for you, sticking a huge mirror in front of your client and in many cases many mirrors around allows them to watch with great intensity

For years after Christmas we would always buy a paper based "Family Calendar", allows us to share details of events, activities, school, etc. It hung up in the kitchen. This year we are using a hybrid approach

Why do New Year’s resolution evolve around the calendar year. Shouldn’t they be on your birthday, as you, yourself enter a new year?

Hi @tthewroach - I wanted to let you know that I posted an article pretty similar to yours but which deals with a different perspective: deploying a passthrough container for static sites and their _configuration_ via Kamal: rusiczki.net/2025/11/20/how…
