Feeling pretty low. Work and life are shite. I guess the Sertraline isn't working yet. Couldn't even drag myself out for a run so wallowing in the bath with the endless scroll of soc-med.

Didn’t even make it half a mile on my first run of 2022. Taken down by the remnants of an old street sign post on the sidewalk. Thankfully my hand and forearm took the brunt of it, but the fall abruptly ended today’s route. #epicfail

Had a few tough days mentally over the weekend when my mood was low. Took the following steps. 1. Talked to people 2. Set myself a new running goal 3. Created a new training plan 4. Went for a long run Today I feel amazing and proud of myself.

Completed a 4-mile tempo run this afternoon in windy but sunny conditions (8⅖ miles total). 🌬️☀️ Pleased to have run 235 miles this January (most distance in a calendar month since March 2021). Looking forward to a strong February ahead of my spring endurance races. 🏃 #running

5th Appearance at the Barry Richards 10K for @HastingsRunners Previous best was 53 mins. Once did it in 64 mins. Yesterday I ran a 10K PB in 41:53. Felt great as well. Training continues to pay off.
