This has brought so many feelings to the surface. Greiving the maternity leave I had longed for, rage & guilt that my babies didn't have the start they should have, the brave face of holding it all together when inside falling apart. Pandemic mothers are made of strong stuff 😢

@uswbuslib I was so worried about what would happen when we took it away but we just took them away in the day time one day & he barely noticed. He was a bit grizzly when we took them away at bedtime but it still wasn't that bad at all.

Early days of parenting flashback - being so upset and angry with myself that I "gave in" & gave M a dummy.
All the stuff I'd read was "dummies are evil, they only cause problems, baby won't give them up" is caused so much mum guilt.
Ergh hindsight is so infuriating.
