A proud and moving moment for me today as President of The National Vegetable Society when I presented my wife Gwenda with a Gold Medal, the highest NVS award for all the work she has done for the Society over many years including being the rock behind me in my endeavours.

We won a Gold this year for our stand thank you everybody who helped set up on Thursday and helped grow the vegetables for the stand 🥇

If you get a trip together, and I’ve got flowers which allows me to be there(!), I’d be willing to spend some time with you and the kids after the judging on the Sat. morning and show them what a judge looks for, if it would be of any interest.

Brilliant day spent at the NVS Scottish Branch Seminar really enjoyed it left @ 4-15am and arrived home @ 9-20 tonight but we’ll worth great hospitality with some fantastic free gifts & 2 lovely raffle prizes won ⭐️👍
