@indiaamigo @gingerbonda I checked the DLS 6.0 from icc. It still doesn’t reflect the changes in scoring patterns.

@vikrantnaik @gingerbonda T20’s highly aggressive and volatile scoring patterns (especially around powerplays and death overs) are harder to model but DLS method has been updated and calibrated using modern scoring data, including T20 matches, to better reflect shorter format dynamics.

I don’t understand how the gave only 3 extra runs for LSG by DLS method man.. shouldn’t they have got atleast 10-15 runs after scoring 210 in 19 overs? How is it logical that they’d have scored only 4 runs in last over if they played? Wha robbery is this..

Funny how a normal conversation between a mother & daughter has triggered a full blown meltdown here. Critiquing, questioning, supporting all of it happens right here, in Indian homes like mine every day. If a simple question scares you this much, maybe it’s not me who needs to explain anything. In Jakarta at the moment. The European in me would always compare India with Europe and think how far behind we are in terms of civic sense. And then I see Jakarta. 12 million more people than Mumbai and India hasn’t reached that standard of civic sense either yet.
