@vikrantnaik @gingerbonda T20’s highly aggressive and volatile scoring patterns (especially around powerplays and death overs) are harder to model but DLS method has been updated and calibrated using modern scoring data, including T20 matches, to better reflect shorter format dynamics.

@gingerbonda The DLS calculations are an extension of 50 over cricket. They are not adapted for 20 over cricket. The idea being that the teams score how they would score in 50 over cricket. DLS for t20 needs a big overhaul.

I don’t understand how the gave only 3 extra runs for LSG by DLS method man.. shouldn’t they have got atleast 10-15 runs after scoring 210 in 19 overs? How is it logical that they’d have scored only 4 runs in last over if they played? Wha robbery is this..

@BombaySpy @VivekSi85847001 You can consider SPG sub set of Secret Service (USSS). USSS also has investigating powers unlike SPG. They investigate violations related to counterfeiting of U.S. currency, securities and preventing financial crimes. Fun fact this was their original mandate when founded.

@BombaySpy @VivekSi85847001 Special Protection Group (SPG) personnel wear vests marked "Police" rather than "Army" because it is a specialized unit focused on internal, proximate security, making the "Police" designation more appropriate for their legal authority and operational rules.

@VivekSi85847001 Is SPG = Police? Why is he wearing a vest that says Police? In any case, the PM of India has hundreds of paid supporters and bhakts floundering around him at all times, so he doesn’t have to worry about security.

IT TAKES A LOT TO BE REVATHI…!!! While the whole country is celebrating the landmark judgement of death penalty for the NINE policemen in the Santhanakulam custodial torture and murder of Jeyaraj and Bennix, you should know about Revathi. Revathi was a constable in Santhanakulam police station in 2020 when the gruesome incident took place. She was the key witness and the sole reason for all the arrogant officers getting punished today. The police men involved in the brutality were all big men, Revathi was a small time constable. But she stood unperturbed. When Magistrate Bharathidasan, who initially investigated this case, arrived at the Santhanakulam police station he had no clue that constable Revathi will help close the case. "Sir, I will tell you everything, every detail, the truth that is being hidden. But I am the mother of two young girls... can you guarantee the safety of my children and my job?", she had asked the magistrate. Revathi was on night duty when the cruel incident took place. She witnessed the brutality being inflicted on Jeyaraj and Bennix and narrated every single detail. She told how SI Balakrishnan, inspector Sridhar and SI Ragukanes, kept beating the father and son with whatever they found, and how they also stomped on their private parts with their shoes. She remembered their screams. She saw how the officers took pause only to sip alcohol while the victims withered in pain. When the father and son were semi-conscious, unable to bear it, Revathi asked Jayaraj if he needed anything. She gave him coffee which the officials spilt it immediately. Revathi couldn’t stand the brutality but being a woman constable there was only so much she could do. She then offered water to the victims. The so called policemen then stripped Bennix naked, tied his hands and legs separately, and beat him up. They did the same to Jeyaraj. Revathi couldn’t bear the pain of their screams, she left the place. According to the postmortem report, their entire back was skinned, iron rods were inserted and they bled from their rectums. When the case was being discussed by the media, when even the CM of Tamil Nadu tried to brush it away, Revathi knew the truth. The police officials, cleaned up the station of any DNA evidences, erased the CCTV footage and warned everyone to shut-up and not try to become heroes. But Revathi didn’t just narrate the entire ordeal in exact detail…she even helped the investigating officials obtain other crucial information. Despite everything being cleaned, Revathi gathered DNA of the victims in crevices of the walls and floors, on furniture and other objects. She was questioned, threatened, intimidated, bribed and even abused. She stood by justice. She had to go against her colleagues for justice of comman man. In the time when police force is often looked upon with reasonable suspicion, there are people in uniform like Revathi. Today court could pronounce death sentence to nine police officers - only because one woman decided she will stand by truth! Kudos to Revathi, an amazing woman and an absolutely fabulous police officer. The world is a better place because of her courage. Salute ma’am 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Wife applied for an HDFC Diners Privilege Credit Card in October. Later found out the agent secretly issued a RuPay card without our consent. Today, while checking the app, I noticed a ₹117 pending bill. ₹99 + GST charged in February as “First Year Fee” — 4 months later. • Never applied for this card • Never activated it • Never used it Why are customers being charged for cards they didn’t even request? @HDFC_Bank Agent misconduct + delayed fee charges + zero communication. Observations - T20 WC Great to see Zim and WI top their groups. Slightly unfair that it counts for nothing in the Super 8s. Group toppers should carry 2 points forward as they’ve already beaten one of the Super 8 qualifiers. The fans have made this tournament. 20,000 turning up for associate games at neutral venues. Only in India. This has been a reminder of who really funds the game - the Indian cricket fan. Pakistan were based in Colombo and had already played multiple games there before facing India. Didn’t see many complaints then about scheduling giving teams an advantage, unlike during the Champions Trophy. Guess it doesn’t fit the narrative. #T20WorldCup

@_mrchaturvedi You don't need every subscription. If you are working and have kids there isn't much time to watch much TV anyway. Best is Youtube or Amazon as it has inbuilt music subscription with it take any one more OTT subscription. Taking all is usually FOMO not a real requirement.

Back to downloading stuff I guess. At this rate & at this point here is how your annual expense looks like… JioHotstar: ₹2199 Amazon Prime: ₹2198 NETFLIX: ₹5988 (assuming even if you take 1080p plan) WiFi: ₹12000 Mobile: ₹300 min per month ₹3600 per year tv+music: ₹2388 / if YT Premium & YT Music as alternative then ₹1499 / ₹2388 if you are on Spotify AI subscriptions, 𝕏 subscription, Storage plans are extra costs in case someone is using them. So basically, you’d spend staggering ₹28373 on streaming & music alone along with WiFi. And this turns out to be around ₹2364 on streaming & internet alone. And in return you’d get no IMAX enhanced on Hotstar, Dolby Vision absent on many titles which is available otherwise in other parts of the world on same times, limited Dolby Atmos and crappy lossy sound and video on prime video.. and after all that inconsistent app experience except for NETFLIX which is seamless. Is spending close to ₹30,000/- in a year on subscriptions is worth? It becomes ₹50K if we add cloud storage, ChatGPT or 𝕏 subscriptions or LinkedIn subscription! What are your thoughts?
Lets Cinema@letscinema

Jio Hotstar subscription prices to go up starting from January 28th. The top tier premium yearly subscription will increase from ₹1499 to ₹2199 (+700 rs).

Great Mills Strike 1982-83, Mumbai! Datta Samant, a Bast@rd Lefti$t induced 2.5 lakh mill workers in indefinite strike for bonus when Cloth Mills were running into losses. Result: -60+ cotton mills permanently closed -2.5 Lakhs lost jobs, families faced poverty, hunger, chawls demolished. Men became watchmen, laborers, or migrated. Women became household sweepers. Young Men ended up joining underworld & Young Daughters in Dance-bars. -Mills' land sold in 1000s of Crores later now hosting malls, skyscrapers & luxury towers. Workers Suffered Generationally. Capitalists became Richer. Gig workers thinking of Strikes or Any Stupidity by falling in trap of same Lefti$ts like Raghav Chadda, Dhruv Rathee, Kunal Kamra & Vir Das must remember that Employers can still find out a way without them, but once you lose employment....your & your family's future will be same as Mumbai's Mill Workers. And during all this time, the Bast@rd Lefti$ts will keep making wealth to make fortunes for 'their' generations. Choice is yours. Choose wisely.

Yesterday the Police showed me the CCTV footage of the physical assault that happened with me on 19th Dec, 2025 at Terminal 1 of IGI Airport. Here are some new things that I realised, looking at the footage: 🔸 I probably had a concussion after the first blow in my head, because I do not remember the repeated blows later, and that I was dragged across the floor by Sejwal. 🔸 It is absolutely clear in the footage that Sejwal started the physical assault, and was absolutely manical while doing it. 🔸 @CISFAirport was very quick to action, and there were 4 - 5 CISF personnel there, unlike how I remembered. In fact, Sejwal was wanting to hit me two times before but was held back by CISF & onlookers. CISF was constantly calling for restraint. And when he finally started the assault, at least three CISF personnel quickly began trying to disengage him. One of them actually jumped over a table to immediately come to my aid. My heartfelt gratitude to all of them. 🙏🏼 🔸 Capt Sejwal did not remove his sweater even once, but I clearly saw his stripes underneath when he adjusted the sweater. And this talk of 'off-duty, passenger to passenger' cannot fly in the face of the facts. Even on the day of the incident, Sejwal & senior AIX officials told me and the multiple agencies present there that he was to fly from Bangalore. Deadheading (crew positioning) counts as flight duty under @DGCAIndia rules, and @AirIndiaX cannot shirk that responsibility. Apart from the above, I would like to mention the following: 🔹 I have filed an FIR in the matter, and now the law will take its due course. 🔹 I was having a constant headache. Medical investigation has revealed a fracture in my left nasal bone. 🔹 I wonder why no-one is talking about Sejwal being on the no fly list? 🔹 Having met @DelhiPolice personnel, my whole perception about them has changed. Their courtesy towards me, and dedication for their work, has been truly impressive. The Investigating Officer in my case was working till 1 am in the night yesterday, and was back at 9 am in the morning today. I know because both times I was with him. While the above praises for CISF & Delhi Police may seem conveniently timed to some, I am not a person who says these things lightly. Those who know me from before, would know that I do not sugar coat my words, or like to appease anybody. In these 5 days, I have received tremendous support from hundreds of people on X. I am deeply grateful to everyone. A lot of people felt very passionately about what happened, and I heard many other unfortunate airport stories in these 5 days. Please know that I personally feel that, in this case at least, I will get justice. Right now I am just concentrating on my health, and hence not writing very much. Thank you for all your kind wishes for my health. 🙏🏼
