The TEDDY study … so only testing GADs would lead to us missing 39% of onset .. wonder if that’s the same for adults ?? Interesting results on links to childhood viral exposure .. very different results depending on age #EASD2023

Interesting exploratory analysis of SURPASS 2 looking at sustained reduction of HbA1c and weight .. slightly interesting results for composite .. longer studies would be helpful I think #EASD2023

Really nice network meta analysis .. let’s not forget we don’t use 2mg Semaglutide in the UK ..so for us Tirzepatide is better for HbA1c and weight loss than anything else we have currently available for management

Exogenous ketone supplementation .. does it help with post prandial glucose excursions ? Yes in people NOT living with T2DM or with those with obesity without diabetes .. you do not see this helping in T2DM .. why ??!! 🤔 dose ? Administration route/formulation? #EASD2023

favourite study so far .. GLP-1 pancreatic gene therapy for a durable therapy solution .. 1 injection !! all that knowledge about GLP-1 and looking at how to create a lasting solution .. no signs of pancreatic Ca/pancreatitis in animal studies .. really exciting !!#EASD2023
