@vldbb Your Las Vegas Oracleworld slides were most interesting. We are on 19.28.0.0 AWS-RDS version but Today I tried the back ported dbms_sqldiag.report_sql and it raised ORA-20900: RDS restricted DDL found: CREATE TABLE SYS.SQLR_FACT_TAB i guess i am forced to wait for XMAS release

@oradiag @TanelPoder @JLOracle @NenadNoveljic If you look at the definition of DBA_IND_STATISTICS (using DBA_INDEXES, for example), you will see how index staleness is derived. Maybe the 'ANALYZETIME' comparison is the clue you need.

@tmmdv If you're interested, try a similar example with PX. I suspect you will get different behaviour, but I have not tested it myself. Needs to be at least 21c, so I would try 23ai.

@tmmdv The existing ER covers it. I think a proper fix requires more than a patch, and Base is definitely aware already. An SR doesn't seem the right way to me, but it's ultimately your call.

@suxuhui88 Reproducibility can be an issue with background verification, so we added real-time SPM in Oracle DB 23c.

@vldbb Hi Nigel, if a SQL replies data in global temp tables, when the evolve procedure runs, will it populate the temp tables then test different plans?
