@chydorina 3/ when i get into a good rhythm with this method i can go all day doing chores, hanging out, working, some exercise, etc.
logistically it is very difficult to keep doing
somedays i cave and eat pizza and ice cream and hang out with people normally and it sets me back a lot
English

@chydorina 2/ i try to use syringes for feeding animals and a feeding tube so it's not so hard on my teeth
going to try a pump for continuous feeding to see if that's better than every ~15 mins.
seems to work best if i wait until i feel hungry in between feedings

The question that keeps coming up for me is: just how far can we get (in recovery with MECFS) JUST from dealing with the basic foundational issues of severe malnutrition and deficiencies.
10%
30%
??
How much could we expect our baselines to improve just with diet, electrolytes, vitamins and minerals (in the right amounts), amino acids, probiotics, anti-inflammatories, kick starting NAD system, and PACING.
How much further could we get by working on whole body pathogen load?
Could we expect on average an improvement of severe to moderate? Or moderate to mild?
I actually think this is probable. Even if this is not a cure. Even if this is not the end of the interventions - how much quality of life could *just* these changes make on average?
For most of us even 15% improvement would make a world of difference.

@AutismCapital @wavepruner Aaaaahhhj stop saying moist!!! Some of us have autism over here!!!
English

Wait, what? Are you not supposed to let wounds scab? Chat, is this real? Do we have any Doctorcels in the house?
Crémieux@cremieuxrecueil
I grew up being told: - Let a wound scab, don't touch the scab - Put hydrogen peroxide on fresh wounds - Put Neosporin on cleaned wounds - Wounds need air - Sutures need to be dry - Ice a wound - The pain means it's working - Redness = infection Now we know all of this is wrong
English

@AutismCapital best to keep it moist throughout the entire healing process, until the skin is like new
English

@wavepruner how long do you have to keep it moist? it heals if its moist? doesn't it need time to dry and...close?
English

@AutismCapital neosporin and bandage is a good way to keep it moist
for large scrapes they make large film bandages that lock in moisture
source: i've been learning how to skateboard lol
English

@wavepruner You're supposed to keep wounds moist? You don't just put Neosporin on a wound and then put a band aid or gauze over it?
English

@BonesawMD been thinking about this daily
the idea of faith being blind always felt false
but a glimpse of cosmic wisdom beyond my mind's capacity.... it leaves clear pieces i _know_ will grow into the whole i cannot fully see
that is something i can believe with all my heart
