@whimsfully I’m a sucker for the 70s/80s classics that are cheesey asf now but that defined the genre, like return of the living dead, texas chainsaw massacre, the thing (probably one of my all time favorite horror movies), invasion of the body snatchers, the fly, Halloween, etc. etc.

Actually it is bad. Not discrediting literally anyone in this photo because they are all talented. The problem with nepotism isn't a lack of talent. The problem is that it's the default. The problem is that the door to the arts has all but been shut on the general public in favor of the lineage of entertainment royalty. It's classism, and it's not just bad for art, it's bad for society.
