Homeopathy practitioners believe that imbalance in vital forces cause disease. Principles of Homeopathy were borne out of momentary delusion in the allopathic practitioner, Samuel Hahnemann.
Ayurveda practitioners believe that imbalance in body humors (doshas) cause disease. Principles of Ayurveda come from beliefs, religious texts and faith-healing and untested primal observations.
Naturopaths believe that short-term, acute illnesses are often the body’s way of clearing toxins and nature will eventually cure chronic illness. Principles of Naturopathy came to being because two guys were jobless in the 1800s and borrowed useless theories from herbalism and mysticism.
Chiropractors believe that the body’s nervous system acts as the conductor of "internal" forces and that bone misalignments that interfere with the transmission of innate forces causes diseases. Principles of Chiropractic came in a dream to its founder, who hallucinated that a ghost of a dead physician was talking to him.
If you consider these groups of people to be "medical doctors" then the joke is on you.

@SidhaantNangia Well, if anyone deserves this comparison misery, it’s you.
English

@bhatia_nachiket I think he has done his part and must be truly deserving. You can’t give Padma Bhushan to a resident! Having said that it would really make a difference if the residents stand for themselves to make it a rule nationally that no emergency shift should last more than 12 hours.
English

Indian doctors are breaking their backs in govt hospitals.
24–36 hr shifts. Violence. No security. No dignity.
And Padma awards go to doctors sitting comfortably abroad?
Serving which patients? Which system?
This isn’t national honour.
This is national amnesia.
Reward those who stayed. Not those who left.

We see disturbing videos of young individuals collapsing suddenly and dying from *cardiac arrest*! what hurts even more is that instead of looking on, that life could have been saved by any bystander!! It is important for *all* and especially relatives of petients with heart disease to *SEE THIS VIDEO* and other videos and learn basic life support. Please note, mouth to mouth respiration is not required, only keep neck extended to maintain airway. What is most required is chest bone compression by 2 inches to maintain blood circulation. Do not worry about hurting the person, he is unconscious and you have to be effective to *SAVE A LIFE* and it is our responsibility to do so🙏🏼

41/100 in NEETPG 2025 select Radiology. Why Radiology as a choice Is Still Rising , Even in the Age of AI ?
Everyone outside medicine keeps saying: “AI will replace radiologists.”
But the choices filled NEET PG rankers tell a different story. Year after year, Radiology remains one of the most preferred specialties among toppers even more than many traditional clinical branches.
Why? Because toppers aren’t choosing based on fear.
They’re choosing based on clarity. They can see what the masses can’t: AI isn’t replacing radiologists. It is augmenting them. Radiology isn’t becoming obsolete It’s becoming more powerful, more efficient, and more future-relevant. The doctor who understands imaging + AI won’t be threatened
Radiology sits at the perfect intersection of: Cutting edge Technology & Work-life balance. That’s what is exciting !

At #ESRA2025, our infographic (BiFeS Block: A New Motor-Sparing Solution for Posterolateral Knee Pain) won first place. Many thanks to the scientific committee and all my colleagues @ESRA_Society @TRegionalAnesth @SerkanTulgarMD

Glad to share I passed the NBE Advanced Peri-op transesophageal #echofirst exam ✅
Hope to see TEE used more in non-cardiac ICUs as part of hemodynamic #POCUS (not just cardiac arrest).
For #Nephrology fellows, I’m excited to teach TEE (sim) - a great way to deepen understanding of cardiac #anatomy and prepare for #CritCare fellowship.

Avoiding unrecognised oesophageal intubation
The @RCoA & @dasairway have agreed to drop ‘no trace wrong place’
The message now is that we need to exclude oesophageal intubation by identifying SUSTAINED EXHALED CO2
This requires 4 elements
-CO2 rises & falls with respiration
-sustained (non-fading, >7 cycles)
-amplitude >1 KPa
-clinically appropriate
It replaces ‘no trace wrong place’ which is insufficient & therefore inadequate
See these two updated webpages
