The problem is that once rape starts being a thing you can do by accident, it kind of loses a lot of what makes it so evil to most people. I’m not sure why pressuring someone into sex is used as the rebuttal here, and not like actual date rape.

when men say they want to kiII rapists they just mean random strangers in a alley who would force themselves on women/girls they care about, never people who pressure their partners into sex, because they or someone they know are most likely part of the latter group.

@Etanarachel I recently read Understanding Sexual Violence by Diana Scully, in which she interviewed convicted rapists in prison, and it's fascinating how many of the textbook serial rapists who broke into homes, abducted victims, used weapons, etc. don't think their crimes were "real" rapes.

Putting aside the fact that "Peter Pan syndrome" is pop-psychology bullshit that was invented to deride young people for having fun (they did it to Gen X first in the '80s), it's also objectively true that Boomers are squatting positions of power. The youngest Boomer is only 60.

I think this is why Rorschach's line about not being able to imagine a more dangerous opponent seems so much more ridiculous in the movie than it does in the comic

Eitherway this is a nice nod to the director, similar to Moore to Steve Ditko with Rorschach.
