Yes I know the Sox are cheaper but I live within a 20-minute walk of Wrigley and it’s just a nicer stadium experience

@beckyhartung The irony is the train is already (mostly) built! The 91/PV and Riverside Line Metrolink lines both already run the route through Riverside Downtown and the Amtrak Southwest Chief already runs to San Bernardino - with existing stops. There is a *bunch* of existing infrastructure.

Today I realized in a conversation with @slizlarson that C'Mon N' Ride It (The Train) by the Quad City DJ's is turning 30 years old this year. It was released in February 1996. Anyway, if you need me, I'll be planning my retirement.

@beckyhartung Yes! Especially in the narrower trains! The B/D trains (especially the HR4000s) are wider and have more room which makes bikes less challenging, but the other lines can have that area full up quickly.

It’s so stressful to get to the bike/stroller car and it is full and trying to move around the aisles. A standing only / bike / wheels car would change me.

I dream of a day that @metrolosangeles has a seat-free/limited car for bikes only.

@LeighGiangreco I have had good luck with @eatcba having non-rubbery eggs!

My one beef with almost all bagel places nowadays is that they’re baking the eggs for the bagels into these rubbery, square patties. They’re disgusting and ruin your breakfast bagel. Bring back messy scrambled eggs!
