There’s a lot of noise on social media about what’s going wrong — but not enough about what’s actually being delivered. Here’s what this Labour Government has already achieved! Real progress. Real change. And more still to come.

The word you’re looking for is nepotism. Deselecting two sitting Black councillors so Starmer’s mid-20s niece can be parachuted into the 2nd safest ward via a mandatory shortlist isn’t “top-down management”, it is classic nepotism. The man who ran on restoring trust in politics just torpedoed it in one safe seat. Hypocrisy level: expert.
The Fraud@StarmertheFraud

So let's get this straight... two sitting black councillors are deselected in Croydon. The Party's bureaucrats enforce a mandatory shortlist... and the result is KEIR STARMER'S MID-20s NIECE gets picked to stand for the 2nd safest ward? She might be very smart and capable, and might eventually be a credit to the role, but this sort of mad top-down management invites scepticism. If I was a local resident, I'd be pretty miffed. insidecroydon.com/2026/04/30/kei…

Premier Inn isn’t “restructuring”. It’s sacking 3,800 people to pay Rachel Reeves’ tax raids. Average hotel business rates up 115% over three years – an extra £205,200 on the bill thanks to her shake‑up. Employer National Insurance whacked up on top. Whitbread’s five‑year plan? Strip out 197 branded restaurants, flog off 110 sites, take a scythe to staff and slash £250m of costs just to stay investable. This is what “stability” looks like under Reeves: balance the books on hotel cleaners, receptionists and kitchen staff so the Chancellor’s spreadsheet looks pretty.

@CutMyTaxUK Britain: 45% tax at £125k. Also Britain: 'Why are entrepreneurs leaving?' UAE's 0% income tax and free zones answer the real question.

The number of Brits now paying the punitive 45% top rate of tax, which cuts in at a measly £125k, has grown by 57% in a single year to reach 900k. This group pays 38% of all income tax, despite constituting only 2% of taxpayers. By contrast in the US the top federal rate of income tax is 37% & cuts in at an income of £465k. Britain is a poor country whose tax & welfare system encourages poverty.

UK tax is going to be the highest since 1945. But public spending won't increase; in fact most of us will experience a decline in public services. Here's why - in a thread that I'd love to be completely wrong.

Labour MPs have now done more to protect Keir Starmer than they’ve done to protect British farmers, veterans, pensioners, taxpayers, women and girls or Chagos. They deserve the Labour bloodbath on May 7th.

Rotten to the core. Every single Labour MP. It’s not just this, it’s been constant scandals, sleaze and abuse of power since Labour entered office. They wrecked the economy, increased the cost of living and have betrayed the country. Get Labour out. ⚠️

Judge a man by his deeds. Boris Johnson allowed a free vote on whether he should be referred to the privileges committee Keir Starmer has told his MPs that they will be kicked out of the Labour Party if they vote for referral. What a scared, pathetic weasel of a man.

To save his own skin, Keir Starmer threatened his MPs with the loss of their jobs unless they helped cover up his misleading statements to Parliament. It is a disgrace that 333 Labour MPs chose to be complicit in that cover up. It is very notable that the Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister would not repeat his boss’s exact claim that there “was no pressure whatsoever” from No10 on the appointment of Peter Mandelson, instead trying to 'clarify' what he had meant. This is a government coming apart at the seams. They are more interested in their own survival than the cost of living crisis affecting hardworking families. Labour MPs will rue the day that they voted against this motion, because it is the day that people saw they believe there’s one rule for Labour and another for everyone else.

335 MPs who voted against referring Keir Starmer to the Privileges Committee. A list of shame. Not an ounce of integrity between them. An advertising blitz will now hit the constituency of every Labour hypocrite on this list. They’ve increased their annihilation on May 7th!

We won't have to worry about conflicts around the World soon as we won't have any military left now you and ALL @UKLabour MPs have voted to throw brave NI veterans under the bus. We also have @Keir_Starmer's mates & scumbags tricky Dicky Hermer (@UKLabour Attorney General) and discredited & struck-off lawyer Phil Shiner pursuing false claims against brave military veterans. Hope you @UKLabour MPs are good with guns because the rest of us won't be supporting you!
