Very sad to see Hilary leaving NIO. It was a pleasure working with him, even in a small way, over the last two years.
As well as being a champion for Northern Ireland, his speech in response to the Belfast riots was probably the most passionate of any given to the PLP.

Ann Widdecombe brought conviction, wit and personality to public life over many years.
My thoughts are with her family and friends.
