UKVI has been delaying a lot of January student visa applications recently. Many applicants have reached out to me asking what can be done apart from paid emails or calls. Unfortunately, when delays happen, some universities may also withdraw a CAS if deadlines are missed as seen in the image below. My honest advice: When next you’re doing a UK student visa application, strongly consider going for Priority processing if you can afford it. It can save you weeks of uncertainty and reduce the risk of missing your university’s timelines. Plan early. Don’t wait till the last minute.
