This season they lost Sam, which is fine, but they've also removed everyone that was cool out of some fragile ego trip. Jet is incapable of releasing clout or power to people who would actually help Production is now only 3 main people and they actively hate the old fans praying for some magic dumber degen fanbase to arrive I've never been a season complainer like this until now. OG MDE oldheads used to warn the zoomer era was a mistake fans from pre-adult swim hated it and us newfags thought they were wrong. FTL launch finally laid that to rest, we won still think the zoomer era was great... tacxin, joeyy, etc. But maybe the oldheads had a point

Unironically yes, and it’s because it was insanely funny seeing them get gaslight the whole season. The entire premise of that season was the boiling frog metaphor. Simbal, Mizzy, and Payton managed to adapt to it pretty well. Burt and Alex B are one in a million characters and it’s crazy they had two of them on one season. It’s practically impossible to do gaslights anymore if the cast are fans who know what the show is.

Man, I'm so disappointed with this season. I'll peek at S6 but my excitement is absolutely tanked. Sure, there was content, but was it good content? No sharks, barely a host, final week of challenges were week 1 ice breaker shit, audience poisoned by Kick. Sad #fishtanklive
