I actually like the kit, when you picture the CL/PL badges and sponsor I think it will change people's opinions. The only thing I don't understand is the badge, that's not our badge. #AVFC

@AVInteraction @AVFCMarkM Trapped jar like a football to stop it from smashing & it landed edge flush down middle toe & just went tits up from there on in. Went in to surgery being told I would come out with what you've seen or no leg from the knee down, but surgeon didn't know until we got in theatre

What do you want us to do about it? We spend to be competitive in the richest league in the world, despite all the money yoi claim we've spent, it's nothing compared to what others spend in the Prem. We can't help there is no money in other leagues, that's their issue. #AVFC

Villa looked on a totally different level to Freiburg tonight. The Premier League is increasingly becoming a Super League in all but name. Based on latest accounts, Villa generated around £380m of revenue. Freiburg generated around £140m. Villa’s annual revenue is therefore almost 3x Freiburg’s. The Premier League’s bottom clubs now receive around £100m+ per year in central distributions alone. Many Bundesliga clubs receive less than half of that. Bundesliga domestic + international TV deal is £1.1bn per season shared across 18 clubs. Premier League domestic + international deals is about £4bn per season shared across 20 clubs. I suspect UEFA and Europe’s other major leagues will eventually try to address this somehow. Because the current trajectory looks unsustainable competitively.

People see the dips in form. They don't see the PSR issues, the same players as 3 managers ago. The injuries to the main spine of the team for months yet remain consitant. They don't see how well Unai has done to put THIS team in 4th & a final. We shouldn't be anywhere near #AVFC
