The relative humidity this afternoon at the Reading meteorological observatory has been the lowest known relative humidity on record at the observatory, with 9% RH recorded at 16:51 UTC this afternoon. This beats the previous record of 14% recorded on the 2nd of May 2013.

@MetJam_ I think I saw some -9C dew points in parts of Wales yesterday. There are already -7C dew points showing up today with sub 20% humidity. 👀

A patch of localised very low dew points is being modelled in Central London later - might even see values close to -7ºC being recorded.
