New research shows 1.7 million people could be living with dementia in England and Wales by 2040. That’s over 40% more than previously thought. This is a stark reminder that, without action, the individual and economic devastation caused by dementia shows no sign of stopping.

As a mum of 2 teenagers who are feeling worried about making career choices, it's a joy to show them how valued out young staff are!

This is roughly 40% of the staff in our organisation @alzheimerssoc aged under 25*. Many are in their first career roles. When I look at the world, it fills my heart with much needed joy that the future is in such capable, compassionate and driven hands. (*+ a few directors!)
