@mishtal Every adult Muslim i know observed Ramadan. I know far more Christians, not one observed lent. I, a Christian man, do not usually observe lent.

I live in a Christian majority country with a deep Christian heritage. The cross appears in our emblems, flag, and our state symbols. Yet for the past month, media and politicians have spoken every single day about Ramadan - and not a word about Lent. Why is that?

I really do not understand this schools closing for Eid malarkey. I actually find it pretty criminal. Why can head teachers not just approve holiday requests of Muslim children? Why close a whole school? The council took me to court because I took my child to Mexico for 2 weeks after Covid. They are always banging on in schools about missed weeks, missed hours. They get on my last nerve. Again one rule for them and another for us minions. Also, my Muslim friends wouldn’t expect a headteacher to close a school for Eid. It’s just another fine example of virtue signalling nonsense. I will say this loud and clear, and I think I speak for the majority. You are welcome to the UK on merit. You are welcome to practise your religion in the privacy of your own home and your place of worship. You are entitled to your beliefs. What you are not entitled to do is come to the UK, a Christian country and expect the UK to change their values to accommodate you. You are not welcome to make our streets into some kind of makeshift mosque. You have plenty of mosques where you can celebrate your religion. You are not welcome to protest the streets week in week out, terrorising anyone that disagrees with your stance on Palestine. It’s not racism, it’s about respect. We should have been stronger as a country and made this clear from the outset.

Under the Government's new anti-Muslim hatred (aka Islamophobia) guidelines teachers have been advised children in UK schools are not allowed to draw pictures of Jesus Christ, in order to avoid offending Muslims. Let that percolate in your mind for a moment. There is now an all out war against our Christian cultural heritage but most churches and church leaders are silent. They use fear and intimidation to brow beat people into being quiet, not only do they want to ban all criticism of Islam they want it promoted actively to impressionable young minds. I won't be silent! The Left and Islam want to rip away our national Christian identity, they want to strip away any mention of Jesus from children in schools, replacing him with diverse teachings on pagan false religions, particularly Islam. This is intentional, its targeted and frankly its brainwashing. If the British people don't wake up soon we are going to lose everything.
